Hillcrest Nursing Home

Hillcrest Nursing Home opened in June 1963 with a mixture of 23 private and semi-private rooms. Through the years, Hillcrest has undergone  several renovations and additions.  Today, Hillcrest includes Hidden Pines Assisted Living Community with ten apartments, a Special Care Unit for  Alzheimer’s residents, a Heavy Care Unit, Adult Day Care, and our Little Folks’ Childcare Center licensed for 45 children. The Nursing Home is a 100 bed  dual-certified Medicare/Medicaid Skilled Care facility with 150 dedicated employees. Outstanding leadership from the Board of Trustees and Foundation Board enabled Hillcrest to look toward the future.  Hillcrest Nursing Home proudly operates independently of any revenue other than receipts generated from the Home. Owned by Red Willow County, Hillcrest has become the exception in comparison to facilities dependent on county or city taxes. Strong support of staff education is vital as we believe in “investing” our time and money in excellent employees.  Our employees are committed to our residents’ care and strive to make their “Home” a place of trust, dignity and happiness.  You will see our staff involved in the community, whether participating in the Relay for Life and Memory Walk fundraisers, creating a memorable float for Heritage Days, or volunteering with numerous youth activities.  Hillcrest is all about “caring”. Visit us on the website and then plan to see our beautiful facility, wonderful residents and positive staff as we dedicate ourselves 24/7 to making a difference. Best wishes for a great experience!
