Heritage of Emerson

Heritage of Emerson is a 38-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. We also provide Alzheimer’s care, respite care, hospice care, as well as assisted living services, adult day care and outpatient therapy.

We are located in Emerson, a small town of approximately 800 people in rolling hills of Northeast Nebraska, named for poet Ralph Waldo Emerson. We are close to some larger cities such as Sioux City, Iowa; Wayne, Nebraska; and Norfolk, Nebraska.

Our staff truly cares for our residents on a personal level and we are involved in their lives, from bringing in special magazines of interest, to taking residents to family wedding functions. We also have a lively activities schedule which includes: family picnics, Father’s Day fish fry, community coffee on Fridays, weekly community prayer group, youth involvement and happy hour on Fridays.
